On-going Activities:

DIC Monthly Open Meeting

The council meets the first Saturday of each month from September through June at 9:00AM to plan, discuss and coordinate its activities.

Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast

A morning meal celebrating the life and values of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

Interfaith Yom Hashoa Service

Traditional religious ceremony guided by the Jewish congregation with interfaith readings and or music often featuring a talk by a Holocaust survivor.

Baccalaureate Service

An event celebrating the God-given talents of the graduating class of Duxbury High School featuring music, dance, poetry, essays or readings from the scriptures.  Members of the Council oversee the service and provide messages of spiritual guidance to the graduates.

Thanksgiving Community Prayer Service

An early morning prayer service held in an historic location featuring prayer, a brief message and refreshments.
