June at 9:00AM to plan, discuss and coordinate its activities.

Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast

morning meal celebrating the life and values of Rev. Martin Luther
King Jr.
- International
Day of Peace Vigil
- The
United Nations' International Day of Peace - is a global day when
individuals, communities, nations and governments highlight efforts to
end conflict and promote peace.
Established
by U.N. resolution in 1982, "Peace Day" has grown to include
millions of people around the world who participate in all kinds of
events, large and small.

- Interfaith
Yom Hashoa Service
-
Traditional
religious ceremony guided by the Jewish congregation with interfaith
readings and or music often featuring a talk by a Holocaust survivor.
- Teach,
Learn, Care (TLC)
-
TLC
is an extension of the Service Committee. The purpose of TLC is
to help provide school supplies to children of families in need.
Our goal to to help up to 50 children of varying grade levels in the
Duxbury Public School System.
- Baccalaureate
Service
-
Join
us on June 4th, 7:00PM at Holy Family Church for an
event celebrating the God-given talents of the graduating class of
Duxbury High School featuring music, dance, poetry, essays or readings
from the scriptures. Members
of the Council oversee the service and provide messages of spiritual
guidance to the graduates.
- Thanksgiving
Community Prayer Service

An
early morning prayer service held in an historic location featuring
prayer, a brief message and refreshments.
- "Lights
of Faith" column
-
Each
member institution is responsible for one column per year on a
“Spiritual” subject. This
article carries a disclaimer that the article does not reflect the
